Jamiesons Knitwear

Jamieson's is a family-owned Shetland business that has specialised in wool from native Shetland sheep for five generations, since Robert Jamieson set up in Sandness in the early 1890s. The family opened its Lerwick shop in 1952, and in 1981 opened Jamieson's Spinning in Sandness, a mill that grades, scours, dyes, cards and spins 100% pure Shetland yarn under one roof. Its Fair Isle knitwear is produced in the Shetland Islands from the family's own yarns.
