Green Thomas is a British clothing brand created by design duo Emma Green and Alan Thomas Dibble, who met on the first day of the MA Fashion course at Central Saint Martins, London. After more than twenty years of working internationally in the fashion industry for retailers and brands, and balancing family life, they finally launched their own label in 2015. Their longstanding friendship and shared experience shaped the foundation of Green Thomas.
From the outset, they were clear about the brand’s identity and target audience. Green Thomas offers a range for both women and men that blends classic styles with a cool, modern edge. Their design philosophy balances tradition with contemporary influences, focusing on quality craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. They play creatively with colour, pattern, and scale, ensuring their collections remain connected to current trends without being dictated by fleeting fashion cycles.
The brand is committed to sourcing the best yarns and fabrics, working closely with mills they can visit themselves. They prioritise collaboration with local suppliers and makers who produce exceptional products, reinforcing their dedication to quality and authenticity. Each Autumn Winter season, Green Thomas designs a new collection that retains their signature style while offering fresh interpretations.
Since their launch, Green Thomas has expanded its offerings beyond knitwear to include a printed collection and a capsule home collection. They hope customers appreciate their work as much as they enjoy creating it. Their story is one of friendship, shared vision, and a passion for designing timeless yet contemporary clothing that appeals to discerning men and women.
The brand’s journey reflects a deep connection to the craft of design and production, emphasising quality materials, thoughtful design, and local partnerships. Green Thomas continues to build on its original values, delivering collections that are classic, cool, and carefully crafted. Their range demonstrates a seamless blend of tradition and modernity, making them a distinctive name in British fashion.
