Founded by Hamish Hamilton, it grew out of a passion for rugged, no-nonsense equipment — collaborating with serious outdoorsmen, mountaineers, soldiers, and mountain-rescue teams. Using their pioneering Double P System of Pertex and pile, they make fast‑drying, windproof, breathable clothing built for endurance rather than fashion. Their philosophy emphasises utility over bells and whistles — prioritising survival, durability and timeless design. Buffalo’s products are handmade in their Sheffield workshop, reflecting a deep commitment to craftsmanship, heritage and outdoor exploration.
