Behind the Seams | The Arena Tweed Blazer

Made in England from start to finish we invite you to take a look at how a John Partridge Arena Tweed Blazer is made.   Creating the look...    Here at John Partridge, we take our time to research the different shapes and styles and how they would work in our customers' day to day life. It's a lot of planning and research to make sure the customer gets what they want. We understand that not everyone is the same, and that's why we try to offer a wide range of options. From different colours, patterns and fabrics - we make sure that there's a little something for everyone. We only use the highest quality materials to ensure that you'll be able to wear your purchase for years to come.     Selecting fabrics... Once we perfected the pattern, the next step is fabric! Finding the right tweed is just one step of the process, creating the idea and look of the jacket is where the journey really starts. Once the design is finalised, it's up to our amazing garment technologist to make sure it can be manufactured properly. This involves selecting the right materials and construction processes, as well as working closely with the production team to ensure everything comes together. Ultimately the goal is to create a jacket that looks good and fits even better.     The magic begins... Once the fabric has been picked and the designs have been finalised, it's now time for our amazing sewing machinists to really shine. With over 30 years of experience in the field, our sewing machinists know how to bring the garments to life and that includes the Arena Tweed Blazers. The Arena Blazer is truly a work of art and our machinists put their heart and soul into each and every one. Their passion for their craft is evident in the attention to detail and the care that goes into each stitch. They are able to create a tweed blazer that's not only beautiful but also functional. Shop the Blazer  Tweed has been a popular fabric for centuries, and its popularity shows no signs of waning. The Arena Tweed Blazer is the perfect way to add a touch of sophistication to any outfit. The Process - Part 1: Awling's Leather Selection
