Charles Laurie London is a luxury leather goods brand founded by craftsman and designer Charlie Laurie in 2016. The brand’s story is rooted in a deep appreciation for leatherwork, inspired by Charlie Laurie’s ancestor who ran a saddlery business on Oxford Street in the 1800s. Charlie began his own journey in leathercraft at Capel Manor College in 2009, where he later received the ‘Excellence in Saddlery Bursary Award’ from the Worshipful Company of Saddlers. His training continued as an apprentice with one of London’s finest leather goods manufacturers, learning from some of the most experienced artisans in the country, many of whom have spent over 50 years perfecting their craft.
