Since its establishment in 1937 as Midlands Hosiery Mills, Pantherella has been a leader in creating fine English socks. Founder Louis Goldschmidt believed that lightweight, seamless, fancy socks would be in high demand, and convinced local machine makers to produce a specialist sock machine.
Pantherella's innovation and dedication to quality soon set the industry standard, and the company began exporting globally in the 1940s.
Today, Pantherella continues to prioritize provenance, design, and quality, crafting all of its socks in its family-owned factory in Leicester.
