Brora was founded in 1993 by Victoria Stapleton, inspired by her family's involvement with Hunters of Brora, a historic tweed mill in Scotland. The brand was created to give classic Scottish cashmere a contemporary twist while supporting traditional British craftsmanship. Brora's cashmere is dyed and knitted by the same mill in Hawick, Scottish Borders, using skills passed down through generations. The brand is committed to sustainability, producing small batches of high-quality garments made from natural fibers like cashmere, wool, and linen. Over the years, Brora has expanded its offerings to include seasonal clothing collections and accessories while maintaining its focus on timeless design and ethical practices. With a strong emphasis on British manufacturing, most of Brora’s products are made in the UK.
